Recently I was in competition on a loan with another bank. It was a 3% down program with many caveats causing issues. Marshall worked with me on guidelines for over 30 minutes and helped me determine the best plan for the client. He also emailed me the next day on a potential roadblock I might encounter with this client on one of the programs.
I tell my clients all the time we have our own “think tank” at Benchmark. Marshall is one of the valuable people who makes us stand apart from the rest.

If you search the term ‘best underwriter ever’ on Google the # 1 result should be for Vicki Maley. I have been in the industry for a little over a decade & yes, I am still a young man, however I have never had the opportunity to work with an underwriter that has a servant heart like Vicki has.
Now let me share, her answer is not always yes, however before she says no…a majority of times provides me with another option or another way to consider things.
Vicki is a Benchmark asset that should be on the balance sheet.

I wanted to share a BIG PRAISE on our closers Dinora Leal and Natasha Scott. We had 6 loans needing to close the week of Thanksgiving. The Friday before, Natasha worked until 10pm to make sure her CDs went to borrowers. Saturday morning, Dinora was up early working to make sure her CDs went out. Both closers went above and beyond to make sure we were ready for closing the next week. This work ethic is what makes the Benchmark Team great! Both of these ladies consistently make us look great to title companies, borrowers and realtors! They get the job done on time if not early with a CAN DO ATTITUDE!
